As Britons discover material prosperity can’t satisfy the ache in their soul, they need to hear the truth about what can give them joy in their life.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and as Christians we should follow his example.
New Life newspaper can help you do just that. With its stories and testimonies, it illustrates how everyday people found hope and joy through Christ.
If every home in Britain is handed the Gospel through New Life, we can all help change the outlook of people across the nation.
We want everyone in Britain to know that Jesus died so that their sins could be forgiven and that he conquered death so that they could enjoy life with a capital L!
Research indicates that while they may not go to church, vast numbers of people in our nation pray. And we believe that God hears those prayers and he is sending us – the believers – to answer their prayers and take them the Gospel message.
Command of Christ
The Lord Jesus left his disciples with only one cause to action – we are to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. New Life is a brilliant way that every church can take the message to every home in their community.
New Life sits alongside every other form of outreach that you use and helps your efforts to reach the whole community with the Gospel.
New Life was used to promote a multi-church evangelism event in the Black Country, where comedian Sid Little was giving his testimony.
Assistant pastor of Sedgley Community Church Steve Hyde said: “We were inundated with requests for tickets, and we had a variety of people who came to listen to the Gospel message – including a Muslim and Bhuddist!
“We believe that the friendly, familiar look of New Life and the entertaining way it spreads the Good News meant it appealed to everyone in our community,”
Opportunity
New Life is a great Gospel partnership between churches, organisations and individual believers regardless of denomination determined to carry out the command of Christ to take the Gospel to all creation.
It gives every church, organisation or individual the opportunity to take advantage of using our entertaining newspaper to engage with their community.
In an increasingly political correct world, Christians are still free to take the Gospel to their neighbours. Let us make the most of this opportunity to reach out – who knows what restrictions the future might bring?
One of our customers, Pat, said: “Local stall holders near us, not Christians, loved it! Thanks for meeting our needs at such short notice.”
Vision
New Life’s vision is to see churches and individuals in Britain – regardless of denomination – working together to spread the Gospel message to every home in the UK.
You can take part in this vision by posting New Life newspapers through the letterboxes of your local area. If every church got involved, the Gospel message would quickly reach every home in Britain.
Why New Life?
New Life is a top quality publication that spreads the Gospel by using news stories, features and testimonies.
It is an excellent way of outreach because it’s more engaging than knocking on a door while someone tries to cook their evening meal! And with such Good News stories – which make a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of most newspapers – readers will be encouraged by its message.
New Life explains why people follow Christ and tells them about the Christian faith in a familiar tabloid paper style that’s written clearly, and makes the message accessible to the whole community.
Produced by professionals, New Life is an eye-catching and innovative way of reaching out to your community. You can even use it to replace your local newsletter by ordering a local edition – which contains a full page of YOUR news alongside the great stories in the rest of the paper.
Using New Life as part of evangelistic outreach will also help you communicate quickly and effectively with a larger part of your community – so order copies today and start spreading faith, hope and joy in your community.
History
New Life was born in 1983 in the City of Steel, Sheffield, the brainchild of three believers who were passionate about their faith and wanted to take Christ’s transforming message to the city – then some 220,000 homes.
We quickly found that the project demanded huge amounts of faith, hard work and determination. But the results were encouraging.
A large number of churches got involved, with dedicated volunteers slogging up and down the city’s streets every two months. And readers were soon calling to find out more.
One lady was involved in local politics and called our offices ahead of a vote about abortion. Pam was the first of many from her area who found a real faith in Jesus through New Life. So many, in fact, that a new church was started as a result.
Pam was later featured on our front page under the headline ‘A call changed my life.'
